I'll pray for you as you progress through RCIA Doc! I sponsored my wife through RCIA a few years ago (she was a Baptist), and it transformed both our lives. Catholics and other Christians have so much to learn from each other. Right now I'm involved with the Lifeteen programme, which mixes contemporary evangelical worship approaches and traditional Catholicism.
I recently picked up Catholic and Christian by Alan Schreck - it's a very straightforward read about key Catholic issues if you're in need of such a text.
