Sunday May1: a day of Good & Evil

It’s ironic that on the day that the greatest man of the last 50 years is Beatified, that the most evil man of the last 50 years is brought to justice.

I don’t think that it is a coincidence. Evil is always around Good, but Good always prevails in the end. Evil pursued Jesus when He was here with us and He prevailed in the end. This ironic day is another example of Good prevailing over Evil, and it is a clear message for us.

The contrast is enormous, Pope John Paul was a Holy man, who gave the world hope & inspiration, stood strong for all that is good, and epitomized every virtue. Bin Laden was an icon for all that is bad: intolerance, extremism, terror, destruction, violence, murder.  But once again, as always, Good prevailed in the end.

RE:Sunday May1: a day of Good & Evil I did not see that.  What a powerful attention to God's grace.  It makes me think about how sometimes I get so caught up in how God is trying to inspire me directly that I forget to look for grace's of God all around.

Recently I was reading the living faith daily scripture and I always try to apply it to my day and I had a difficult time doing it one day but then I realized that perhaps it was for me to share and inspire someone else.
