I remember your homily about "going back to the basic". I believe this time, it reinforces further that for us to thrive (not in this world) in our relationship with God is to always remember what God wanted of us from the very beginning. Become saints. With the fast-paced life we have now, we need to ensure we do not become immersed to its demands. I'd stay away. Like what Christ did, went to the mountain and prayed to be with the Father. That is all that matters. And as I've just learned in Philippians 4:8, "In conclusion, my brothers, fill your minds with those things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honorable." And be like a child, Jesus' favourite.

What a great sermon you have given! I am sure that it will help many to re-examination of self and subsequent reconcilliation with God.

Thank you very much may He bless and keep you too.

Where I live in Western Europe, we definitely have a crisis of faith...
Today Father Robert Barron tells us that the key to understanding and applying all the wonderful lessons from Jesus' Sermon the Mount and especially today's readings, is to allow the Holy Spirit to work on us from the INSIDE.
Please pray for this extraordinary servant of God who is such a beautiful gift to us and the world.
There are 527 of his homilies and every one is a life line to spirituality and to greater understanding of the glorious mysteries of our beautiful and wonderful Roman Catholic Faith.
If you want to enrich your faith please start from number one and work your way up... You will not be disappointed.. They are all phenomenal!!!
And Amen!!!! to all the other comments so far!
