Sermon 586 : The Return of the King : Palm Sunday
4/1/2012
Please click the play button above to listen now.
Entering Holy Week, we see numerous stirring examples of Jesus' fulfillment of Old Testament prophesies. From the direction he enters Jerusalem to his mode of transport, we find again and again how he is the one intended to reclaim the temple and prove to the world that he is indeed the son of God, chosen to save us through his revolutionary example of love and forgiveness.

THANK YOU FATHER BARRON. IT IS PERFECTLY CLEAR THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE PERFECT TEMPLE OF THE SONS OF ISRAEL AND OF THOSE WHO BELIEVED IN JESUS CHRIST THE TRUE MESSIAH. (FOCUS ON ZECHARIAH 9.V9). IN MAKING OUR HEARTS EMPTY OF SINS, IS THE PERFECT LOVE TO OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST AND LET HIM ENTER IN OUR HEARTS THE TRUE TEMPLE OF GOD OUR BODY OUR SOUL OUR HEART...

These last few homilies and commentary have such pull in the life of the message that I can't help but be moved to a deeper place of repentence and gratitude.
You and your staff remain in my daily prayer.

Dear Father I so enjoyed briefly meeting you in Brisbane when you were there. I purchased your book Catholicism and you kindly signed it. It might add many of the parishioners in Hervey Bay were quite envious of me being able to attend your talk on the 8th March. God bless you and all the great work that you are doing for Our Lord.

Your reference to the details of direction, recalled to mind the the story of Noah in the Hebrew Masoretic Text: Noah was instructed to align Adam's bones with the EAST side door; where frankincense and myrrh were also to be placed. Some have interpreted this as the forshadowing of The Messiah.
Noah's land would be flooded,(destruction of man and beast, the destruction of a temple of kinds), a new covenant would come about.
God Speed!

Thank you Father for bringing the message of God. I was touched when you said, that we must love, for God is love. May Jesus bless you for your ministry and the lives you have touched.
