Thanks a lot for this very inspiring sermon! Grace comes to us in mysterious ways! We need to recognise the workings of the HOLY SPIRIT in our daily lives and have courage to do into the deep.

Wonderful sermon about going out into the deep. Without Jesus in my boat I cannot do anything. Am inspired to find out more about pierre Gergio Frassali. God bless Fr. Barron and his great work. Annetta. Dublin Ireland.

When Peter realized the miracle that had just happened with the fish he was overwhelmed by his unworthiness and fell to his knees. I feel the same way when I meditate on Jesus’ death on the cross. His light makes me more aware of my sinfulness; that up to now I’ve only minimally responded to His love.

Lovely and penetrating wisdom as usual Fr. Barron.

One caveat on this sermon. The Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati sounds like a wonderful human being; however, wikipedia says that he often repeated the following:

"Charity is not enough; we need social reform."

This^ is frankly appalling.

I am a regular listener and disciple of your teachings. You mention in your Faith DVD series that Suffering is the best argument that atheists have against God. John Bosco from the OSV 2-10-2013 gives a great insight on "Why is there Suffering". It may be presumptuous to think that you aren't familiar with his thoughts. However, his is a great argument if you haven't seen it. Keep up your great work!
