When will the version of the CATHOLICISM series with Spanish language “dubbing” be available?

The version of the CATHOLICISM series that has the menu option to watch with Spanish voiceovers is standard version of DVDs sold through our webstore. Every copy sold is equipped with Spanish dubbing and subtitles.

How about other languages? Are you planning to provide the CATHOLICISM Series with other subtitle options?

Yes, other languages and translations are in the works! We will post more details on the progress of translation when these become available.

What is the benefit of purchasing the CATHOLICISM Study Program Leader’s Kit?

If you are facilitating the CATHOLICISM Series study program in your parish or with a small group, the Leader’s Kit contains the extra materials to facilitate your program- the extensive answer key, the Facilitator’s guide, the supplementary “Faith Clips” DVD which answers foundational, basic questions about the faith, prayer cards, and Fr. Barron’s CATHOLICISM book. It is an indispensable tool for organizing the program and for resourcing more extensive study within your group.

I donated $250 to Word on Fire this year and received the DVD series as a thank-you for my donation to the ministry. Now, I would like the Leader’s Kit, but I don’t need another copy of the DVD series. Is there a way to purchase the Leader’s Kit without the DVD’s?

Is it really necessary for each student to have their own individual copy of the Study Guide when completing the Study Program?

Yes. In order to properly take advantage of the content of CATHOLICISM, we highly recommend that each individual obtain their own copy of the guide. The Study Program’s success involves four components:

1.     Watching the series,

2.     Reading the extensive commentary,

3.     completing the Questions for Understanding and Questions for Application, and

4.     Discussing written answers in a group setting.

Each student needs their own Student Guide to be able to complete all four components. The aim of the CATHOLICISM Series and Study Program is to provide participants and viewers every opportunity to experience the depth of Catholicism so as to pave the way for ever greater discipleship. The Study Guide is a thoroughly researched and developed tool to promote total understanding and retention.

Can I get advice on how to facilitate this program in my parish or small group?
