Father, I'm so glad that I read your article about Mr. Hitchens. After receiving a notice from the Catholic League concerning Mr. Hitchen's comments on Mother Teresa, I wrote to him. We fought back and forth for a bit. He actually wished me a Merry Christmas one year! We learned to respect each other (a bit). My last email to him was requesting that he find a scapular. (Just in case he was wrong). I hope he did. I, too, pray for him. Someone told me that the last book he was reading was C.K. Chesterton. Maybe a deathbed convert? I remember saying to him something to the effect; you sure spend a lot of time and make a lot of money on a subject you don't even believe in! I think you are right,however, I think I wanted to believe.Thank you for making me see that. God Bless
